Computers today are changing the world as we know it, and they offer an exciting new way of working. The rate of new and modern innovations is said to be approaching an all-tome low point similar to the Dark Ages, that is, zero. However, there is a large gap between the innovations in the past and innovations today. This is because major branches of technology have already been discovered.<\/p>\n
When innovations in the fields of Computer science is being talked about, a number of examples strikes our mind at the first place such as Internet, PC, Tablet, SmartPhones, AI, Social Media, GPS, Google, Personal Websites, OS, Laptop, Military Equipment, and the list goes on. However, there are innovations which are the technologies that computer scientists had a direct hand in developing, like Internet, broadband, WWW<\/p>\n

Other than the most common and widely used technologies, there are some innovations in computer science, which are overlooked in the world of today and didn’t get their share of fame and acknowledgment but are as important as the popular ones and some of them form the base of your preferred technology product or service.<\/p>\n
One such example is Database Management System: DBMS is a computer application which helps us store, organize, retrieve and modify data. DBMS revolutionized the world of data handling. Now, it\u2019s an integral part of web applications, banking, reservation systems and much more.<\/p>\n
\u201cPixels\u201d is another such example whose importance is often not realized when clicking a picture with the smartphone. Pixels or ‘picture elements’ are the smallest unit of a digital image. The digital images are made up of a large number of pixels, each one of which can be controlled to display certain colour and intensity. Unlike other computing inventions listed here, Pixel was first used in televisions in the late 1920s.<\/p>\n
The invention of a computer aroused from the need to lessen human error. Thus, a need to manage technological innovation arises. There are lot of things that we still don\u2019t know about the rapid progress of computer development, plus the contributions of many scientists in this field.<\/p>\n
