14th December 2015 will forever be a red letter day to us, the members of the Brainware family. That’s the day when the Government of West Bengal passed a bill ( Act XXXI, 2015) acknowledging us as a Private University, duly recognised by the UGC. It’s been one year since Brainware University came into inception, and a memorable year at that. We made some landmark innovations, addressed and conquered challenges, set new benchmarks. We have achieved one step further to our ultimate goal, making professional, job oriented education easily accessible to all ambitious students.
Brainware University aspire to mold young students into capable leaders of tomorrow. For the sake of preparing students for the demanding market, Brainware University has come up with not just some subjects according to your skills and interest, but also several attractive additional services like industrial communication classes in a fully equipped Language Lab, frequent extracurricular activities like competitions etc.
Currently we offer 12 only job ready UG and PG courses ( i.e courses like Bsc/Msc in Computer Science, Hardware & Networking, BA/MA in Multimedia & Web Development, BCom and MCom in Banking etc, which guarantee 100% placements assistance) but we will introduce PhD programmes from early 2017 for funding groundbreaking researches by promising young scholars.
We will share the notable achievements accomplished i the span of a year with all of our students, faculty and well wishers…. From July 25th 2016, the Undergraduate Classes commenced. Several bright youngsters were initiated to the Brainware family, through the Orientation Programme. Along with rigorous classes regular soft skills training sessions were also held regularly. Soft skills training classes include speech correction skills, grammar improvement etc. Brainware University has also started making due preparations for the 2017 placements .
After experiencing record breaking placements in 2016, we strive to maintain the gold standard placement record of Brainware. But rigorous academics and lucrative placements are not the only highlights of our universities. Brainware University aims to be a home away from home for its youngsters, and make campus experience at Brainware a memorable experience. This is why we provide many first rate facilities like ragging free eco friendly green campus, numerous cultural/extracurricular activities like Techfest, Fresher’s Day, Annual Sports, Management Fest etc.
Moreover in order to polish and nurture the creative potential of our talented students we have come up with some special features such as Photo Frames : A Photo Lover’s Club, where students are most welcome to send along their candid snapshots on a variety of subjects, the best photos are displayed in a public album. There are also some other unique extracurricular activities like the Student’s Corner where you can exhibit your writing skills in 3 mediums, English, Bengali and Hindi. The best essays will feature in the University Newsletter.
In order to give the budding film makers proper wings , Brainware University has come up with Breaking Barriers the university’s film making unit. Students will submit short films made on campus life and inspirational people. These will be later released in the social media. Brainware University also set new standards and goals for organizational and academic excellence were set in the event Future Focus 2016. The budding engineers of every department showed off their skills of innovation in the Tech Fest. As the year of 2016 comes to a close we, the Brainware family hope for a fruitful, eventful and allround productive time in the coming year.
