We are thrilled to announce that over 4000 new students have already joined the Brainware University family this academic year. As the largest private university in West Bengal, our campus is now buzzing with fresh energy, vibrant dreams and limitless ambition. The Student Induction Programme (SIP) Deeksharambh 2025 familiarised the students with the university.

Brainware University has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the only private university in West Bengal to receive a Rs 53.25 lakh grant from the Ministry of MSME for student-led innovation projects. With this Brainware University becomes the only Private University in West Bengal to achieve this feat. This outstanding accomplishment highlights the university’s commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering real-world problem-solving.
From Ayshwarya Ghoshal’s eco-friendly insecticides derived from jicama peel and Shipra Gole’s chemical-free food preservation using natural antimicrobial oils, to Abhraneel Bose’s AI-powered smart posture monitoring chair (PiChair), Aritwa Saha’s biodegradable EcoLink initiative to support artisans and reduce plastic pollution, and Shubham Baidya’s Fresh Flow device for cleaning surface waste from water bodies - our students are championing sustainable, tech-driven solutions for a better tomorrow.
