For the second consecutive year, Brainware University has been named the 'Best University for Promoting Industry-Academia Linkage, Eastern Region' at the 8th EduMeet and Excellence Awards by ASSOCHAM. Registrar Mahua Pal and Campus-to-Corporate Head Mrinal Bhattacharya accepted the award on behalf of the university. Since its inception, Brainware University has focused on mentoring skilled graduates and tailoring its curriculum to industry needs, partnering with various organizations to bridge the gap between campus and corporate life.

The university was delighted to host Pathikrit Payne, a distinguished Geopolitical Analyst, who gave an insightful talk on 'New Age University.' Chancellor Phalguni Mookhopadhayay and Vice Chancellor Dr. Sankar Gangopadhyay attended the session, where Payne highlighted the need for students to learn resilience and navigate failure. Our Institutional Ethics Committee, comprising the Schools of Medical and Allied Health Sciences and Biotechnology & Biosciences, is officially recognized by the National Ethics Committee Registry for Biomedical and Health Research (NECRBHR) and the Department of Health Research (DHR).

One of the JPISC staff emphasised the importance of watching out for issues like excessive social media use, anger, and substance abuse among youngsters. He also highlighted the need for 'Mental First Aid' to support the new generation.
