‘We work hard but we party harder’ and yes this is an absolute necessity to re-energise ourselves for the busy schedules ahead. This year, the employee fraternity at Brainware University cheered together for the inaugural edition of ‘ULLAAS’ that took place during the semester break. This vibrant cultural extravaganza provided the employees to show their hidden talents in singing, dancing, fashion, and various sporting tournaments. The mega event was graced by the presence of our Hon’ble Chancellor Phalguni Mookhopadhayay and it was a huge success.

Our students are not only restricted to the four walls of a classroom, this time the Multimedia students ventured outdoors with 'Shutter Bliss', a photography excursion to Purulia which was an absolute hit. Powered by Fujifilm, at the excursion, our students embarked on a whirlwind of activities, starting with an enchanting Chhau model photoshoot. The talent behind the lens truly shone as they captured breathtaking moments during a visit to the painted village.

In yet another 2-day national nursing conference on ‘Innovation in Nursing’ organised by the Institute of Nursing, a total of 14+ exceptional papers were chosen for presentation, showcasing the incredible depth of knowledge in the nursing community.

Like every year, this year also, the Central Library at Brainware University organised a 2-day book exhibition in the university campus. Despite being unable to join us physically, the legendary Dr. Nrisingha Prasad Bhaduri sent his warm wishes through a heartfelt video. Adding to the excitement, we proudly launched 'Harinath De in Memory and Oblivion', a captivating book by Brainware University.

Our students of BCA 1st year have once again owned the cultural arena by securing the FIRST POSITION for their mesmerizing depiction of the theme 'Life in Hell After Death' at the prestigious fashion show 'Ramp on Fire' at Adinova, the annual fest of Adamas University.

Since childhood, we have wandered through the enchanting lanes of the Kolkata International Book Fair, dreaming of seeing our names on book covers. Today, that dream becomes reality through our student Moumita Das.

Moumita, currently pursuing M.Sc in Psychology, has just published her first anthology of poems titled 'Aami o Madhyam Purush' at the 47th International Kolkata Book Fair.
