From the first delivery launch to the vibrant display of student-driven products, the event celebrated the spirit of entrepreneurship. With our students and NSS volunteers taking the Tricolour beyond campus walls, the air was filled with pride, unity and the undying essence of independence. This Independence Day, Brainware stood tall – every smile, every step, every flutter of the Tiranga echoing the heartbeat of a proud nation.

Anti-Ragging Awareness Week at Brainware University |

Brainware University observed Anti-Ragging Awareness Week with a series of impactful student-led activities. From thought-provoking poster-making and an energetic campus rally with banners, placards, and slogans, to a powerful Nukkad Natak highlighting the dangers of ragging, students raised their voices against this social menace. The celebrations included a prize distribution ceremony for the poster competition and concluded with a vibrant cultural programme of music and dance. A special mention goes to the enthusiastic NSS volunteers whose participation added momentum to the campaign.

Cybercrime Awareness Session with Bidhannagar Police at Brainware |

The Department of Cyber Security, in collaboration with the Campus-to-Corporate Cell, organised an impactful session on modern-day cybercrimes at Brainware University, featuring experts from the Cyber Security Cell of the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate.
Led by SI Somnath Singha Roy, SI Partha Mistry, and their team, the session brought real-world case studies into the classroom - from gaming frauds to digital arrests, highlighting the latest threats in the digital space. Emphasizing that “students are the first line of defense, and awareness is the best weapon,” the officers shared practical safety tips to help students safeguard themselves and others online
