On December 8, 2021, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) released the Answer Key and Answer Sheets for the Common Admission Test (CAT). The answer key will remain available until December 11 at 5 pm. Along with the answer key, an individual answer key will also be available. IIM Ahmedabad has said that candidates can file objections in the provisional answer key until 5pm on December 11, 2021, at iimcat.ac.in.
Since this is a provisional answer key, you also have the opportunity to object to it. According to the schedule provided by IIM Ahmedabad, candidates can file objections before 5pm on December 11, 2021. After the mentioned time, the window would be closed. The IIM entrance exam was carried out on November 28, 2021 and the answer key was published in fifteen days.
CAT Answer Key 2021 Download Process and Filing Objections
- First, visit the official Common Admission Test (CAT) website. The link is mentioned below iimcat.ac.in.
- Then click on the “Candidate Response” tab
- After that, alternatively, click on the direct link provided here to see it Sign in Candidate
- Then enter user ID and password to access and view responses
- After that, the CAT 2021 answer key will be displayed on the screen.
- Then check the answers with the key.
- After that, for any response that needs an objection, please mark it and click submit.
- Then pay the required fee for each objection filed, if it is mentioned there.
- Finally, once submitted, take note of the objection raised.
All objections raised will be studied and the final answer key will be released in the third week of December. The result of CAT 2021 will be based on the final answer key. The result of CAT 2021 is expected for the second week of January.
Candidates will be eligible to search for admissions based on grades earned in CAT 2021 result, for top B schools across the country, including premium IIMs. The CAT 2021 cap for admission to Top B schools could see a drop this year.
